About our services

Lighthouse Estate Planning provides will writing and estate planning services across South Yorkshire, Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire. Will writing is not, in itself, a regulated activity. We prepare your documents to a high professional standard and explain clearly what each one does.

The £92 OPG registration fee

Where we refer to a £92 fee in connection with a Lasting Power of Attorney, this is the statutory registration fee charged by the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) to register each LPA. It is a government charge, payable per document, and is separate from our own fee for preparing your documents. The OPG fee was recently increased from £82. Some people on a low income or certain benefits may qualify for a reduction or exemption. OPG fees are set by government and may change.
